FLIPoQ’s unique 3D printing mesh-technology (FLIPoQ- Functional Large Isotropic parts in original material Quality) allows to create 3D-geometries from any space certified polymer material in a reliable way. For space applications it is essential to meet dimensional precision and accuracy and to follow strict quality control processes to guarantee the functionality of 3d printed parts under roughest conditions. But first of all – you need to be able to work any certified polymer material – this is the unique selling position of FLIPoQ. With the SPACEoQ-proposal (supportless Polymers with Aerospace Certification for Earth or Mars in original material Quality) we want to discover new opportunities of our processes in space. We make it possible for the clients to produce spare and series parts in any required polymer material. Misprints can be recycled and worthful and expensive materials can be saved in a sustainable production way. Our technology works sustainable saving support structures and making it possible to 3D print high-performance materials with low energy input and possibly decreased cycle times (no heated-up build chamber). Our process creates parts, that demand less post-processing compared to traditional processes.
